The guilt of the incident had led his grandfather to commit suicide. Arjun also discovers that Rakesh's soul is still wandering around seeking revenge.

Meanwhile, Madhavi continues to have strange experiences, which make her believe that Rakesh's soul is possessing her. She seeks the help of a psychiatrist, who suggests that she undergo hypnotherapy to uncover the truth about her possession.

During the hypnotherapy session, Madhavi reveals that she was the one who had caused the accident on the day of their engagement. She had accidentally hit Rakesh, who was riding a bike, while she was driving her car. She had then panicked and fled the scene, leaving Rakesh to die.

Arjun realizes that Rakesh's soul is possessing Madhavi to seek revenge against him and his family. He decides to perform his grandfather's trick to exchange his identity with Rakesh's soul, hoping to find a way to put an end to his revenge.

The rest of the movie revolves around Arjun's struggle to find a way to put an end to Rakesh's revenge and save himself and Madhavi from his wrath.
