FADE IN:

EXT. JERSEY CITY - DAY

The sun rises over Jersey City as Kamala Khan (IMAN VELLANI) wakes up, still feeling the effects of her powers from the previous night. She sits up in bed and takes a deep breath, trying to center herself.

CUT TO:

INT. KHAN HOUSE - KITCHEN - DAY

Kamala walks into the kitchen and sees her mother, MUNEEBA KHAN (ZEBAISH THOMPSON), making breakfast.

MUNEEBA: Good morning, beta. Did you sleep well?

KAMALA: (yawning) Yeah, I did. Thanks, Ammi.

MUNEEBA: (smiling) You're welcome. Eat up. You have a big day ahead of you.

Kamala sits down at the table and begins eating her breakfast. As she eats, she begins to think about her encounter with the mysterious woman last night.

CUT TO:

EXT. JERSEY CITY STREETS - DAY

Kamala walks down the street, lost in thought. Suddenly, she hears a scream.

KAMALA: (to herself) Ms. Marvel to the rescue!

She quickly changes into her costume and runs towards the sound of the scream.

CUT TO:

EXT. JERSEY CITY - DAY

Kamala arrives at the scene to find a group of people gathered around a car that has crashed into a tree. The driver, a young woman, is trapped inside the car.

KAMALA: (to herself) I can do this.

She runs towards the car and uses her powers to lift it off the ground. She sets it down gently and helps the woman out of the car.

DRIVER: (grateful) Thank you so much! You saved my life!

KAMALA: (smiling) It's all in a day's work for Ms. Marvel.

CUT TO:

EXT. JERSEY CITY STREETS - LATER

Kamala walks down the street, feeling proud of herself for helping the driver. Suddenly, she hears a voice behind her.

VOICE: Ms. Marvel.

Kamala turns around to see the mysterious woman from the previous night.

KAMALA: (surprised) You!

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: (smiling) Yes, me. I see you're getting the hang of your powers.

KAMALA: (curious) Who are you?

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: (mysterious) Someone who wants to help you. Meet me tonight at the abandoned factory on the outskirts of town. I'll explain everything then.

The mysterious woman disappears into the crowd, leaving Kamala standing alone on the street.

CUT TO:

INT. KHAN HOUSE - LIVING ROOM - NIGHT

Kamala sits on the couch, waiting for her parents to go to bed so she can sneak out to meet the mysterious woman.

KAMALA: (to herself) This is crazy. What if it's a trap?

She hears her parents go to bed and quickly changes into her costume. She sneaks out of the house and makes her way to the abandoned factory.

CUT TO:

EXT. ABANDONED FACTORY - NIGHT

Kamala arrives at the factory and sees the mysterious woman waiting for her.

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: (smiling) You came.

KAMALA: (cautious) Who are you? What do you want?

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: (mysterious) I am your friend. And I want to help you.

KAMALA: (curious) Help me how?

MYSTERIOUS WOMAN: (serious).
