The Lady Killer is a movie that is meant to be dumped on OTT as the deal was signed and since the budget went higher they wanted to cover all their costs by dumping the movie on OTT and to release in 2023 they had to complete token release in theaters post 8 weeks it can show on OTT.Ajay, known for directing Taapsee Pannu-starrer Blurr, took to the comment section of a YouTube channel and wrote, “To confirm, yes the movie is incomplete. 30 pages of the 117 page screenplay were never shot. A huge number of connecting scenes, Arjun and Bhumi’s entire romance, Bhumi’s dependence on alcohol, Ajrun’s sense of being trapped and losing everything and having to run from town, his sense opf total despair, all these psychological beats are missing. So yes, it's no surprise that the film feels choppy and disjointed and one finds it hard to connect with the characters."

However, the filmmaker also addressed the rumours of the actors' rift with him. He added, "NOW, about the rumours floating out here, as director, it was extremely painful to shoot The Ladykiller, but absolutely not because of the actors. Arjun and Bhumi were sheer joy to work with. They gave their heart and soul to the film. The problem lied elsewhere but that is another story.”The LadyKiller is a Hindi movie starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead.

The Ladykiller, starring Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar in the lead roles, was released in cinemas on Friday alongside Raj Kundra's UT. However, the film witnessed a disastrous first day as it reportedly managed to attract just 293 people to theatres. As per a tweet by Sacnilk, The Ladykiller informed that the film managed to sell just 293 tickets on Day 1. The opening day collection of the film stands at just Rs 38,000, as per the tweet. 

The Arjun Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer The Lady Killer was released on November 3, 2023, much to the shock of many. The trailer for the film was unveiled on October 29, 2023, just five days before its release. Moreover, the Ajay Bahl directorial is touted as an incomplete film that got a limited release and didn't even mint Rs. 1 lakh at the box office.

The film is produced by Bhushan Kumar's T-Series. 'The Lady Killer' releases in cinemas on November 3, along with 'Aankh Micholi', 'UT69', 'Shastry Virudh Shastry' and 'Three Of Us'.While Rajender goes to meet Vikram, he meets Jansey (Bhumi Pednekar), the daughter of Vikram. Soon, Rajendar and Jansey experience their whirlwind romance.However, their romance finds an obstacle soon, and then the couple may witness life-changing, horrifying moments.With some twists and turns, Rajendra discovers that Vikram sexually assaulted Jansey, his daughter. Jansey makes a plan to kill Vikram, and Rajendar becomes her partner in the crime.The film Lady Killer tells the rest of the story after Vikram is threatened to be killed.
